Archiving and Restoring Events
How to archive an event and restore it when needed
Archiving moves an event out of your active working view. It is not deletion — archived events remain fully intact and can be restored at any time. It simply keeps your events list focused on the work that is actually in progress.
When to Archive
The most common reason to archive an event is that it is no longer active. A canceled event, a concluded production, or a test event created during setup are all good candidates for archiving. The goal is to keep your active events list focused on the work that is actually in progress.
How to Archive an Event
Open Event Settings
Click the event name in the top-left corner and select Event Settings.
Go to the General tab
Select General from the left navigation.
Archive the event
Select Archive Event. The event will be removed from your active events list immediately.
Only users with EventAdmin permission can archive an event.
Restoring an Archived Event
If you need to bring an archived event back into your active view, you can unarchive it. Unarchiving reverses the status change and makes the event visible again in your main events list — nothing about the event itself changes.
Permanent Deletion
There is currently no option to permanently delete an event in the app. Archiving is the final state for events you no longer need in your active view. Permanent deletion support is planned for a future release.
